Immanuel Church of the Nazarene has always been a mission-minded church. In fact, the church actually began in 1917 as a “mission.” Throughout the past 90 years, several individuals from ICN have answered God's call to serve as missionaries in other areas of the world.

Nazarene Missions International (NMI) is the promotional, educational, and fund-raising arm of missions. NMI encourages all Nazarenes to pray for our missionaries, to develop an awareness of the world's needs, to participate in the mission of the church through local and global projects, and to provide financial support for our mission outreach.

The Cross calls for individual involvement and personalization.   We make a difference in our world when we embrace the Cross and its transforming power. The Cross must be intentionally and intensively shared with all nations. We make a difference when we pray,  give and go.

Each year the Church of the Nazarene publishes six books -- personal stories of how God is working here in the USA and around the world. You can check out one of these books in our ABF classes or at the Missions Center in the church lobby.
