Upcoming Baptism

The next Service of Baptism is scheduled for Sunday, January 11th, 2009. If you believe God is calling you to obey His command to be baptized, please call the church office at 215-855-4446 and plan to attend the Baptism Preparation class on either Thursday, December 18th or Wednesday, January 7th at 7:00pm.

 

Special Upward Invitation

This year, our Upward Year-End Celebration will be held at the Wachovia Center, when the 76ers play the Orlando Magic Team, Saturday night, February 28th, 2009. A special invitation is open to everyone in our ICN family to attend & support this event. After the game, there will be an exciting celebration of sharing & recognizing the “Upward Players/Cheerleaders” on the basketball court, including a personal message from one of the 76ers!

Ushers Needed
As our church “Makes Room to Grow” in going to two services on October 12th, we have a growing ministry need for extra Ushers. If you like to smile, give hand shakes, & enjoy being around people, we need you to be a part of this ministry! Please contact Gary Fluck if you are able to help on a rotating schedule.

kidsMinistries needs YOU willing to lend a hand… There are many opportunities - preschoolWorship, Sunday School teachers and helpers, Preteen Activity Coordinators and Vacation Bible School. If you would like to learn more, please email Candy Nixon.

ICN Media Ministry
Are you interested in technical stuff? Do you enjoy working with computers, sound equipment, etc.? Then we have some opportunities for you! ICN Media Team is looking for those interested in learning how to use the equipment which facilitates our Worship celebrations and other events. You can:
  • Learn how to set up mics and adjust the sound board.
  • Run the computers which project worship slides
  • Check out the many ways we use a video camera
  • Set up special lighting effects for Upward, etc.
  • Coordinate these areas as an administrator
  • Help with the cassette/CD/DVD duplication ministry
