What is a Small Group?

A small group is an "intentional gathering of people who commit to grow relationally with Christ and each other. Small groups meet on a regular basis for fellowship, Bible study, prayer and encouragement. Some groups meet in homes, others may meet at the church or another agreed upon location. Small groups are formed as people meet and connect as a caring 'family.' They are the best place for continuing life change to occur as the issues and challenges of life are discussed in an informal atmosphere."

Why Small Groups?

Small groups...

  • Build relationships that will last
  • Encourage spiritual growth
  • Meet needs of people in the group and community
  • Provide Prayer support
  • Apply Bible principles to life situations
  • Have fun together

How Do I Get Into a Small Group?

What type of group do I need?
Different kinds of groups help us in different ways. Consider what is best for you right now, and what kind of group will help you grow the most.
When can I come?
One major factor in choosing a group is schedule. Choose a group that you would rarely miss because of schedule conflict.
Which group will I join?
Select the group that fits your needs and schedule. Talk to the group leader to see if the group is for you!
